      General

We give practical help and guidance whether you need help with your tax return or whether you run a business and need accounts, tax or VAT help and advice.

      FCA regulated entities

If you run a business which is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority we can help lodge reports to the FCA (typically via “Gabrielle”) and carry out the statutory audit if required.

      Charities

We help charities prepare accounts and carry out Independent Examinations of Charity accounts or audits of the accounts of larger Charities.

      Solicitors

We help prepare accounts and carry out Audits as required by the Law Society

Amy Robins LLB CTA ADIT

After undertaking a law degree Amy decided to move into the world of accounting after sitting tax modules in the final year of her degree. She is a tax specialist who specialises in a broad range of private client matters having previously qualified in a big four firm.

Amy has taken pride in advising across a wide spectrum of tax matters, from complex inheritance tax planning, business succession and sale, to high net worth individual affairs and property owners.

In addition, Amy holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation and specialises in advising non-domiciled individuals, trusts and associated tax planning. Amy is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of Taxation Technicians.

Amy believes that modern tax advice requires an in depth knowledge of the client’s circumstances and an enthusiasm to work together with our clients to meet the ever changing compliance requirements:

“As the shift continues towards an ever increasing digital compliance and reporting system it is key that advisors and clients work together to ensure that individual taxpayers and businesses are aware of the requirements and responsibilities. The registration of trusts for the first time in January 2018 provided challenges not only for HMRC but for individual taxpayers due to the uncertainty of the reporting requirements and IT challenges that were in place ahead of the deadline.”

Outside of work Amy enjoys spending time with her family and children. She enjoys the gym and is a keen artist painting landscapes and portraits when she occasionally has the time to do so.
