Whether you're looking for advice, an answer - or a new accountant - we're pleased you're here

Mark joined Fuller Spurling in 1993 and became a partner and major shareholder in 1999. He is also the managing partner of the firm.

His background was with a Top 40 firm of Chartered Accountants in Hampshire where he worked with a diverse range of high profile businesses as well as smaller owner managed businesses.

He has a broad range of knowledge of businesses in all sectors and this combines well with the knowledge and experience of his fellow partners. With all this experience Mark is able to provide not only typical accountancy and tax advice but also general business advice.
Mark explains why clients should approach Fuller Spurling: “Our clients value the fact that we are a local firm, with the expertise and knowledge to provide advice across the full business spectrum, including charities.”
He comments: “Often businesses come to Fuller Spurling because their existing or internal accountants have a limited spectrum of advice and knowledge or they lack the care and attention required to fulfil the accounting or personal tax obligations required of them.”
“Owner managed businesses can deliver huge returns but can be challenging and stressful to run. With 20 staff across two offices we are always available to help and advise our clients.”
“We provide our clients with the quality of service that they require. It also involves flagging up important tax and accounting deadlines and identifying clients’ levels of knowledge so that we can help them at the right level, and generally try to take the stress off clients’ shoulders.”
“We aim to give practical help and guidance and offer advice to try to enable clients to withdraw income from their businesses in a tax efficient manner.”
Mark is a founder member of BNI Camberley which is a business networking group that is dedicated to promoting local businesses across the area.

He enjoys a game of golf when he can find the time to play. In particular Mark enjoys the banter that golf can offer and a drink with friends at the nineteenth hole. He also enjoys the North Cornwall coast for relaxation and spectacular views and walks.
